Sony has introduced the world’s lightest e-book reader at IFA 2011 expo. The Reader Wi-Fi or PRS-T1 weighs just 168g and includes the ubiquitous Wi-Fi technology and 6-inch e-ink touchscreen display. With the integration of Wi-Fi, Reader allows users to buy or borrow ebooks for free from Sony’s Reader Store or borrow books wireless from public libraries. Additionally, the ebook reader is equipped with a simple browser that allows downloading of documents for later reading and also supports digital formats like EPUB, PDF and txt that can be stored in the included 2GB storage or expandable microSD card slot.
