Nokia has finally released the much awaited Anna update for Symbian^3 devices. Available for Nokia N8, C7, C6-01 and E7, the Symbian Anna update brings in lots of new features like an improved user interface with ‘squircle’ icons, split messaging screen and most importantly, portrait QWERTY keyboard support.
Other features in the update are maps and navigation with the improved search functionality, public transportation routes and check-in support; web browser enabling quicker page loads; improved business encryption; and NFC activation on the C7.
Users can download the update directly on the smartphone or use Ovi Suite.
