HTC today announced second Facebook phone for the Indian market. Unlike Salsa, ChaCha is a touch-and-type candybar phone that features a 2.6-inch touch screen display along with a full QWERTY keyboard.
However, ChaCha’s all about social networking, which is why it comes with a dedicated Facebook button. HTC has deeply integrated Facebook wherein a user can easily post on their Facebook wall, share music, upload images and videos with the touch of a button.
On the technical side, ChaCha runs Android 2.3.3 OS and is powered by an 800MHz processor and 512MB RAM. Additionally, the phone comes with a 2.6-inch touchscreen, 5MP camera with LED Flash, VGA camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot.
The phone is priced at Rs.15,990 and Tata Docomo subscribers get an exclusive deal of 3GB worth of free data for first three months along with 3 hours of Mobile TV. For 2G Docomo subscribers, you still get 3GB of data for three months but swap the Mobile TV with 300 minutes of free Tata-to-Tata calls.
