Apple posted their Q3 2011 results yesterday and it was another great one for the guys at Cupertino. Apple posted a record quarterly revenue of $28.57 billion with a net profit of $7.31 billion.
As far as sales figures goes, Apple managed to sell a whopping 20.34 million iPhones along with 9.25 million iPads. Mac sales stood at 3.95 million units. iPod sales however took a hit, apparently due to the rising sales of iPhone and iPad and stood at 7.54 million units, a 20 percent decline from the year-ago quarter.
