Samsung sells 3m Galaxy S II units globally

Need more proof to confirm Samsung is already killing it with their Galaxy S II? Well, they’ve announced that they’ve managed to sell 3 million Galaxy S II units worldwide in a span of just 55 days. Of course, the numbers here reflect on the supply side and not the actual consumer sales but it’s a magnificent feat when compared to Galaxy S that took 85 days to sell the same number of units.

Samsung says they’re selling one Galaxy S II every 1.5 seconds or 50,000 every day.

Galaxy S II is currently one of the best selling devices in Europe and has sold about 1.44m in South Korea.
