Apple has announced the release of its professional-grade video editing software Final Cut Pro X. Apple says the software has been created from scratch that brings in some interesting features as well as takes advantage of the latest Mac hardware by using multi-thread processing or the GPU for fast background rendering.
Some of the features include Magnetic Timeline, Content Auto-Analysis, background rendering, ColorSync-managed color pipeline.
In detail, Magnetic Timeline allows editors to put in additional footage or arrange clips anyhow they want. Sprucing it up is the Clip Connections that can link main clip to the other video elements or Compound Clip to combine story elements as a single clip.
Another handy feature is the Content Auto-analysis that scans the imported multimedia files on the Mac and organizes them so users can easily find the clips sorted on the basis of keywords, close up, medium and wide shots and more.
The Final Cut Pro X is available on the Mac App Store for $299.99.
