LG today confirmed the availability of its Optimus 3D phone. Optimus 3D that was first announced at MWC in February will hit retail channels in coming weeks starting with Europe and followed by 60 other markets.
Optimus 3D is the world’s first device to feature Tri-Dual architecture, which includes a dual-core processor, dual-channel and dual-memory. LG says this Tri-Dual configuration helps the phone to perform better as compared to other dual-core devices.
As for its hardware prowess, the phone is equipped with a 4.3-inch WVGA 3D LCD screen that allows watching 2D content in 1080p HD or 3D content in up to 720p resolution, dual 5MP cameras for 3D image capturing, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 14.4Mbps HSDPA, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery.
