Well, look at this. Apple’s home market has finally got an unlocked version of iPhone. Apple Store is now selling the iPhone 4 in black or white hues without tying a user to an operator. The 16GB iPhone 4 has been priced at $649 whereas the larger capacity 32GB goes for $749. This may sound expensive but the $199 iPhone 4 costs about $1,500 over the tenure of the contract and minimum plans.
Unlocked iPhone means, users don’t have to worry about the spotty network coverage of AT&T or can even hook up with any local SIM card when they travel abroad to minimize calling costs.
