The courtroom war is on, confirms LG. Korean electronics maker has said that they’ll “actively respond” to the lawsuit filed by Sony yesterday. Sony had claimed that 10 LG phones had violated their patents related to audio, microphone, caller ID and transmission power.

However, the response will be done after adequate review, said LG’s spokesperson.

“Based on results of our review, we will take action and actively respond.”

It will take months for the decision but if it is ruled in favor of Sony, LG could face a ban on imports of infringed phones.
