Kingston has unveiled their latest storage offering that enables iOS running devices to expand storage wirelessly. If you’re wondering, Kingston’s Wi-Drive is similar to Seagate’s recently announced GoFlex Satellite but is more portable. Wi-Drive comes in storage options of 16GB and 32GB and it works by downloading the free app to the device and accessing all the content. The Wi-Drive allows up to 3 iOS devices to be connected simultaneously.
The 16GB Wi-Drive is priced at $130 and 32GB at $175, which in my opinion is pricey considering a similar solution from Seagate gives 500GB of storage at an asking price of $199.99.
The Wi-Drive will go on sale from late June.
