We did knew that Apple will release a new iOS update to solve the location data issue and according to BGR’s source, we might get it within the next two weeks. The iOS 4.3.3 reportedly no longer backs up location data to iTunes, deletes location data when Location Service is turned off and even reduces the size of the database.
Apart from fixing of location data, the new iOS update improves battery life and has some iPod bug fixes.
Last week, Apple also confirmed that the location data cache will be stored in an encrypted form in the next major iOS update, which presumably will come in iOS 4.5.
