Apple launching iPad 2 in 12 countries this week, including India

Apple just announced that they’ll launch their iPad 2 in 12 countries by Friday, including India. Japan will get the new-generation iPad from tomorrow but it will be released on April 29 in Hong Kong, India, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and UAE. Apple also confirmed iPad 2 (Wi-Fi only) will be available in China from May 6.

The Indian price for the iPad 2 is Rs.29,500 for 16GB, Rs.34,500 for 32GB and Rs.39,500 for 64GB. The Wi-Fi+3G models start from Rs.36,900 for 16GB, Rs.41,900 for 32GB and Rs.46,900 for 64GB.
