Nintendo’s overdue Wii successor will finally be unveiled at the E3 gaming expo, if the latest grapevine is to be believed. Expectedly, there’s no official confirmation from the Japanese gaming company but the fact that the rumor has been swirling for quite some time and Nintendo has slowed down the game releases for Wii points out at something.
The new Wii is not only said to support HD resolution but will also be more powerful than current-gen systems like Xbox 360 and PS3. How powerful the new console will have to be seen but the prospect of Wii gaining an upper hand seems exciting.
E3 expo begins on June 7, 2011.
