LG Display is showing off its newly developed 47-inch transparent IPS multi-touch panel LCD. While LG didn’t come clean on the display’s mass production or shipping dates, we do know that this display will support 1080p HD video resolution and will be useful for marketers advertising in shopping malls or other areas where digital signage are used.
LG is competing with Samsung who recently announced to mass produce a 22-inch transparent LCD.
