Samsung’s slender and potent Macbook Air rival will be up for grabs from today in United States. Best Buy and other select retailers/e-tailers will sell it for a pricey $1,649 tag which will get a 13-inch display with Core i5 CPU, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Intel HD graphics, Wi-Fi, battery life of about 7 hours and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. If you’re looking for a notebook running Windows 7 Professional, you’ll have to shell out $1,699 when it comes in mid-April.

Additionally, Samsung has confirmed to launch an 11-inch model in mid-April. Samsung hasn’t revealed any price but it will expectedly be cheaper than the 13-inch variant and will feature Core i3 CPU clocked at 1.33GHz, 2GB RAM, 64GB SSD, Intel GMA HD graphics, Wi-Fi and 7 hour battery life.
