WD launches 750GB Scorpio Black Notebook HDD in India

Western Digital is now selling its fast 750GB 2.5-inch Scorpio Black HDD in the Indian market. The hard drive meant for notebooks and other portable storage devices supports SATA interface and promises desktop-like performance with spin speed of 7200RPM.

Apart from giving additional capacity and speed, the Scorpio Black drive has a 16MB cache, Advanced Format (AF) technology with added data-protection features and low power consumption, as much as a 5400RPM drive.

The WD Scorpio Black 750GB HDD (WD7500BPKT) is available for Rs.5275 plus taxes with 5-year warranty.
