LG is the official sponsor of Cricket World Cup 2011 and it seems they’re looking to cash in on its official status. They’ve announced a very limited edition of its entry-level Optimus One sportin some cricket affiliation. Limited to 1000 units in eight cities of India, the Optimus One is engraved with a golden World Cup logo and comes with pre-loaded cricket apps.
Other hardware specs remain the same like 600MHz CPU, Android 2.2, 3.2-inch display, 3MP camera, 170MB internal memory, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery.
The phone will retail for Rs.12,990.
