Samsung will out a new variant of Galaxy S soon. The new variant — I9003 will look to replace the current I9000 model and bring some changes to the hardware specs that should hopefully bring the price down of Korean’s best selling phone. The new model found on Samsung’s MEA site says it will be known as Galaxy SL, apparently due to the integration of Super Clear LCD.
Other important change is the choice of processor, which will now take place of Samsung’s Hummingbird to TI’s 1GHz OMAP 3630 chip. Finally, the new phone will also integrate a higher capacity 1650mAh battery.
Rest of the features include Android 2.2 OS, 5MP camera, HD video recording and playback support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Allshare, GPS and microSD card slot.
