Samsung releases Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) OS for Galaxy S

Samsung has delivered on its promise and have released Android 2.3.3 for its Galaxy S device. The JVB firmware now updates Galaxy S to Android’s latest Gingerbread version making it at par with Google’s Nexus S device.

In addition to the OS bump, Galaxy S will also see a major performance improvement and a number of bug fixes. The update is now available via Kies in Nordic regions or devices having the CSC version “NEE.”
