iPad’s not the only one that got official today. Taiwan-based MSI also unwrapped its first tablet for the Indian market. Unlike most tablets that are Android-based, MSI’s WindPad 100W is based on Windows 7, enabling user a full Windows experience in a tablet form factor. MSI however, did give a touch of its own by customizing the tablet with its WindTouch UI. The WindTouch user interface comes with some unique features like EasyFace, Taskbar Magnifier, Easy Viewer and other pre-loaded tools.
On the hardware front, the 800g WindPad 100W is powered by an Intel processor, runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS and comes with 2GB DDR2 RAM, 10.1-inch SVGA display, 32GB SSD, mini-HDMI out, 1 USB port, dual cameras, SD card reader, multiple sensors and a battery life over 6 hours.
The WindPad 100W will sell for Rs.34,990.
