Samsung has added four new Android devices to its Galaxy line of phones. The phones – Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830), Galaxy Fit (GT-S5670), Galaxy Gio (GT-S5660) and Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570) will be pushed to consumers who want the Android goodness at an affordable price.
Ace is the high-end offering amongst all these phones that comes with Android 2.2 OS, 3.5-inch HVGA (320×480) TFT display, 800MHz CPU, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 5MP camera with LED flash and video recording, Bluetooth 2.1, Social Hub, Android Market and Samsung Apps access, A-GPS, various sensors, Swype, microSD card slot, FM Radio and 1350mAh battery.
Next is the Gio that is spec’d similarly to the Ace but comes with a smaller 3.2-inch HVGA screen and 3MP autofocus camera.
Galaxy Fit features an updated design and comes with a 3.31-inch QVGA (320×240) display, 600MHz CPU, 5MP camera, Social Hub, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, A-GPS, FM Radio, microSD card slot etc.
Galaxy Mini looks to be the cheapest of the lot. It also has 600MHz CPU and supports 3G, 3.14-inch QVGA display, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3MP camera, FM Radio, A-GPS and 1,200mAh battery.
All the phones will be shown at the Mobile World Congress that begins from mid next month.
