So Tegra 2 3D display is not the only thing Nvidia is preparing in the Tegra lineup. The leaked slide that shows the Tegra roadmap reveals Nvidia is developing Tegra 3. Tegra 3 will be a power horse that will bring smartphones and tablets close to PC performance with its quad-core Cortex A9 that can give up to 3X faster graphics, Blu-ray video support and resolution support up to 1920×1200 pixels.
Next is a lower-end Tegra 3 chip but will still have a quad-core processor. Not many details on this one but it will support a maximum resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
Nvidia expects to launch these in Fall of this year, which hints that 2012 will be an interesting year in the world of mobile computing.
