LG’s current Super Phone aka the Optimus 2X has gone on sale in South Korea. The phone will be available via SKT and has seen a good interest from consumers, claiming about 6,500 bookings on an average.
The phone’s super tag comes from the fact that it boasts a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 chip clocking at 1GHz each. This will ensure users faster smoother multimedia playback and browsing experience.
Other features include Android 2.2 OS, 4-inch WVGA display, DDR2 memory, 8MP camera, full HD video recording and playback, HDMI mirroring support, 1.3MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB port, Dolby Digital Plus 7.1ch virtual surround, DLNA and Android 2.2 OS which will be upgradeable to Android 2.3.
For now, the phone will be available in black and will be released in white in February.
