Disney is looking to launch an Android phone in the Japanese market. Disney who also runs an MVNO service in Japan will launch a rebadged Sharp Galapagos 003SH on their network. Needless to say, it will have similar hardware specs to Sharp’s version like the 1GHz processor, 3.8-inch glasses-free 3D touchscreen display, 9.6MP CMOS camera and Android 2.2 but will differentiate with Disney-loaded content like wallpapers, special widgets and apps.

Moreover, each buyer will get an Disney-exclusive e-mail address (@disney.ne.jp) and a case of their choice.
