If you had any doubts on the future of Samsung’s homegrown OS, think again. Samsung has been selling a decent amount of bada devices and at the recent developer conference they also showed off the future bada 2.0 update promising a lot of new features and improvements.
As you can see from the slide, bada 2.0 will support true multitasking, will bring SDK for Linux and Mac users, NFC support, HTML5, improved UI, security and even a revenue model for developers to earn from their apps.
Although Samsung is yet to put a release date for the update, we expect more details to trickle out in February during the MWC.
