Microsoft won’t be unveiling its new shiny OS and supported devices for at least a few more hours but it seems both the Korean handset manufacturers have jumped the gun a bit early. LG’s offering as we know, is called Optimus 7 and features a 3.8-inch WVGA LCD screen (800×480), 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi, DLNA-based multimedia sharing, 16GB internal memory, accelerometer, digital compass and 3.5mm headphone jack.
On the other hand, Samsung’s device is known as Omnia 7 and seems more appealing than LG’s phone. Omnia 7 features 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 CPU, HSPA, 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display (800×480 pixels), Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11n, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording, 8GB internal memory, FM Radio with RDS, A-GPS and 1500mAh battery.
Needless to say, both the devices take advantage of Microsoft’s services like Zune, Xbox LIVE and allows organizing of tasks and information via different Hubs.
