Sony has added two more DSLRs to its expanding alpha range. The A580 (16MP) and A560 (14MP) high-performance DSLRs are equipped with Sony’s new-generation Exmor APS HD CMOS Sensor that promises to give better quality pictures in low light conditions.
Furthermore, both models come with BIONZ imaging processor ensuring high-speed continuous shooting with Speed Priority Continuous Advance mode that shoots images at 7fps.
Both the models are compatible with Sony Alpha’s range of A-mount interchangeable lenses and features support for full HD video recording in AVCHD format, a 3-inch Xtra fine LCD, background defocus mode, HDMI, Quick AF Live View, built-in image stabilizer, 3D Sweep Panorama, expandable memory and refined Auto HDR.
The A580 DSLR will be available from October 2010 and A560 in Q1 2011 in Europe.
