Dell Streak gets priced and dated for US customers

Dell has finally unveiled the price and release date of Streak for its US consumers. Starting tomorrow, users who have registered for pre-sale will be able to place an order for the Streak tablet whereas non-registered users will get it from Friday.
The tablet however, is priced on the higher side as it goes for $299.99 with a two-year on AT&T or $599 without contract. Do note that the device will still be locked to AT&T even if you buy without contract.
Streak will be shipped with Android 1.6 but will receive Android 2.2 Froyo by end of this year.
