In addition to India, RIM will now also have to deal with two Gulf countries – UAE and Saudi Arabia. Both countries have announced to block Blackberry services if RIM does not comply with the regulations and give access to decrypt emails sent from Blackberry devices. If no resolution is reached, UAE will start blocking the service from October whereas Saudi plans to restrict from this month.
There are about a million Blackberry users in both the countries.
