Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is seeking to enter the tablet market, if a report by Business Line is to be believed. The report says Reliance is in talks with Notion Ink to acquire a majority stake in the startup company that has created a worldwide buzz with their Adam tablet.

Newspaper says that RIL might be interested in the company as their Adam tablet is reckoned as an “iPad killer” and even allow RIL to easily penetrate in the Indian broadband market. Mere hours after the Broadband Wireless Access auction RIL announced their decision to acquiring a 95% stake in Infotel.
