Looks like Dell India will expand its realm from notebooks to mobile phones soon. They have published an advertisement in major newspapers (Main Edition, Page 3) inviting channel partners for distribution. As you can see, they’re looking for partners who preferably have a nationwide distribution network along with a good presence.

Other than that, we’ve no idea on when is Dell planning launch itself in the crowded mobile phone market but one phone we expect at the launch will be Dell Aero.
