As expected, Motorola has officially introduced Droid X for Verizon. It is Motorola’s most feature packed device that comes with a huge 4.3-inch display with WVGA (854×480) resolution support, 1GHz CPU and Android 2.1. Motorola has promised to release Android 2.2 as an OTA update in late summer with Adobe Flash Player 10.1.
Other features include an 8MP camera with dual LED flash, 720p HD video recording, HDMI-out, EV-DO Rev. A, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth, A-GPS, 8GB internal memory with microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB and Wi-Fi hotspot app allowing five other Wi-Fi devices to share Droid X’s data connection.
Motorola Droid X will go on sale on Verizon from July 15 for $199 after $100 rebate.
