Motorola Droid for Verizon

 

After series of leaks, brief hands-on and a preview, Motorola and Verizon have officially unwrapped DROID. The phone is believed to be one of the best Android devices and looks like it will abide by the claim. DROID runs on Android 2.0 (Eclair) and comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, high-speed 3G, 3.7-inch LCD (480×854), 5MP auto focus camera with dual LED flash, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 16GB microSD card.

DROID will be bundled with loads of Google services, Android Market, Facebook, Amazon MP3 store and Visual Mail.

Verizon will start selling DROID from November 6 for $199.99 after a two-year agreement and $100 mail-in rebate.
