PlayStation Move will cost $50, launch in September

Sony has finally put a release date and price to its motion-sensing Move controller. The Move controller will cost $49.99 whereas the sub-controller will cost $29.99. Sony has also introduced couple of Move bundles – one comes PlayStation Eye and Sports Champions game and another one with the PS3 console along with the Sports Champions game. The former will retail for $99.99 whereas the console bundle will go for $399.99.

As for the release dates, Europe will get the Move from September 15, North America from September 19 and Japan from October 21.

  1. Well that looks uninspiring. I hope the games are good, because that looks like a cheap knockoff – not a playstation original. They better add some new functions as well, or this will just be a (late) Wii.
