Looks like Motorola and Verizon have decided to take on the Sprint-HTC partnership. Engadget has posted a preview of Motorola Droid X and have nothing but praise for the next-generation Droid that is supposed to launch on Verizon next week.

The phone is as big and awesome as HTC Evo but comes without 4G. It features a 4.4-inch FWVGA 854×480 display, 8MP camera with 720p video recording, Motoblur, a multitouch keyboard and 1GHz ARM processor.
