Google has confirmed the launch date of its Chrome operating system. They’ve pushed back the launch of Chrome OS to late fall, which means it could launch sometime in November or December. Google says they want to improve the overall user experience and give Microsoft Windows, a run for its money. Windows currently holds about 90 percent of the operating system market share.
“We will be selective on how we come to market because we want to deliver a great user experience. We’re thinking on both the hardware and software levels,” said Sundar Pichai Google’s head of the Chrome project.
