Sony developing high-definition camcorder with interchangeable lens

In addition to announcing APS-C sensor equipped NEX-3 and NEX-5 digital cameras, Sony also announced the development of a high-definition camcorder bearing the same CMOS sensor. Sony hasn’t put a model name yet but the upcoming camcorder will have the same Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and support the E Mount interchangeable lens that goes with the Alpha NEX digital cameras or A Mount lenses from the existing alpha DSLR camera lineup via a mount adapter.
Sony will commercialize the product in fall of 2010.
