Going by the logical progression, it shouldn’t be a surprise if the next-gen iPhone features a 5MP camera. In fact, we’ve heard the same thing before but the new report from Chosun says that Apple has apparently changed the supplier. The report claims LG Innotek has been handed the order to supply 5 megapixel cameras to the iPhone maker for its iPhone 4G.
“The electronics component maker began producing the sophisticated cameras at its plant in Gumi this month and will mass produce them starting in the second half of this year.”
iPhone 3GS currently has a 3 megapixel camera.
