Intel is gearing up to launch new processors targeted at the netbook market. According to Digitimes, Intel is looking to unveil a new set of Atom processors supporting DDR3 memory and a dual-core Atom CPU. The DDR3 supporting processors will be N455, N475 – clear successors of N450 and N470 whereas the dual-core offering is said to be N500 – the first dual-core CPU for netbooks.
The official announcement for the third-gen netbook platform is expected sometime in June, which we presume should be at the Computex.
