Google’s Nexus One that was restricted to US boundaries has finally stepped out and will be available in UK first. Vodafone UK is currently taking pre-orders of the device or you could wait till April 30 to order it from Vodafone stores, online or over the phone (Vodafone slates May 5 as the earliest shipping date).
To rehash, Nexus One sports a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, Android 2.1 OS, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, 512MB ROM/RAM, microSD card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone jack and more.
Vodafone will sell the phone for free on two-year contract with a monthly plan of GBP 35.
Other European countries like France (SFR), Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain will get it in the coming weeks.

Yeah, but if you pre-order today, you get all the way through and it fails – the url showing InvalidProductCode. Looks like they’re not quite ready. The guy on the phone at Vodafone could do nothing with Nexus One, it didn’t even appear on their system yet, so couldn’t even confirm a partial order.
