Apple’s iPad goes on sale this Saturday and to ensure smooth transfer of content to user’s latest shiny device, Apple has released an update to its iTunes software.

The v9.1 brings in support for iPad and iBook that will allow users to buy and sync e-books for the tablet. Additionally, users now have the power to rename, rearrange or remove Genius Mixes.

For all the jailbreakers, iTunes 9.1 has been confirmed to work fine with redsn0w but not blackra1n.
