While the world was waiting for Steve Jobs to unveil their latest creation, which we now know as the iPad, Asus’ executive confirmed the existence of an Eee Pad that we first saw at the CES. Eric Chen, Asus’ Corporate VP confirmed the development of their version of tablet but refrained from telling much about it. The only things he confirmed were that the Eee Pad tablet will have ARM CPU, which is obvious since it will be powered by Tegra 2 and will have 3G connectivity.
Chen did not say anything about the release but if we go by the previous rumor, Asus is looking for a June release, presumably at the Computex.
