Wii is undoubtedly the bestselling gaming console currently but is crippled when compared to its competitors due to its limited set of features. And if slowing sales and reduced profits is any indication, Nintendo might’ve been well on its way to release a successor soon. However, Nintendo USA’s Prez, Fils-Aime begs to differ.
According to him “the Wii home entertainment console has a very long life in front of it.” With a limited storage, no life-like graphics, motion-sensing the only thing to boast of and the recent added feature, Ninty thinks it has a long life?! Nintendo is obviously smart to mislead us into thinking of it, but I’m certain this won’t be the case.
Nintendo has no plans to announce a successor at GDC in San Francisco in March but kept mum about E3 expo’s plans. So does the Wii successor come out in mid-June at E3? Hopefully, yes.
