AMD today announced a new and cheap graphics card. The Radeon HD 5670 GPU is the first graphics card that boasts DirectX11 support for a $100 price tag. The card claims to give the full Windows 7 experience with its oodles of features like the GDDR5 memory, 400 stream processors, OpenGL 3.2 and ATI Eyefinity multi-display support. Additionally, it also has UVD2 to decode full HD content at ease, CrossFireX, dual-link DVI, HDMI 1.3 and 3D stereoscopic display support.
The card is now available from various manufacturers.
