LG and Intel’s alliance from last year is finally showing its fruits. At the CES keynote in Las Vegas, Intel’s CEO showed off an unannounced LG device, GW990.
The GW990 is based on Intel’s Moorestown platform and runs Moblin 2.1 OS. It features a 4.8-inch touchscreen display with an aspect ratio of 2.13:1 and resolution of 1024×480 pixels, S-Class UI, 16GB internal memory, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G and microSD card slot. LG has also confirmed to bring LTE support in the future iteration of the device.
The phone will be launched in the second half of 2010.
