LG brings its X120 netbook to US

LG Electronics has launched its first netbook in the US market. The X120 will be subsidized on contract with AT&T and will be sold by Radioshack. X120 is the first LG netbook to boast SmartOn OS, an instant-on operating system that quickly boots into allow users to enjoy multimedia content, surf internet, edit docs within seconds.

The regular specs include a 10.1-inch LED backlit screen, Windows XP OS, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 1.3 megapixel webcam, HD stereo speakers, Wi-Fi and integrated 3G.

X120 will sell for $179.99 with 2-year contract and $60 monthly plan capped at 5GB.
