HTC has brought the cheapest and a decent Android phone to India, in the form of Tattoo. Tattoo is the second HTC device (after Hero) to boast Sense UI that promises a refreshing interface along with support of widgets.
As like most of the recent smartphones launched in India, this one too will be bundled with an operator. Users buying the device from Vodafone by Jan 31, 2010 will get 20MB of free data usage for the first three months.
On the technical front, the phone comes with quad-band GSM support, 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 3.2MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, D-Pad, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, microSD slot and FM Radio.
It will sell for Rs. 18,400 in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh while the rest of India will get for Rs. 16,990.
