Canon has upped the DSLR game by announcing the next chapter in the EOS-1D series – EOS-1D Mark IV. The camera promises astounding picture quality with its 16MP CMOS sensor, dual DIGIC 4 imaging processors and 14-bit A/D conversion at 10fps. EOS-1D Mark IV possesses Canon’s new 45 points autofocus system which includes 39 cross-type focusing points to track fast moving subjects accurately.
The camera also boasts 1080p full HD video recording along with selectable frame rates (24/25/30p), high ISO range going up to 102,400, 3-inch VGA display, Peripheral Illumination Correction, in-camera copyright function, integrated EOS cleaning system, rugged chassis and wireless transmitter support (WFT-E2 II A).
The EOS-1D Mark IV will arrive in US stores in late December for $4,999.
