Acer issues notebook recall due to overheating

Uh-oh! Looks like few Acer notebooks have run into a problem that is causing them to overheat. The affected models are AS3410, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ and AS3810TZG with the microphone cable beneath the left palm rest acting up overheating the notebook. Acer has not confirmed if any incidents were reported but are now replacing the faulty microphone cable before they malfunction and cause some damage.
