iPhone/iPod Touch users can now update their device OS to v3.1.2 that promises to fix few issues related to network disruption, waking from sleep mode and occasional crash during video streaming.

The update is about 240MB big and can be downloaded after connecting the iPhone/iPod Touch to iTunes.

As for jailbreakers and unlockers, steer away from the update until the iPhone Dev team gives the green signal.
